Today I am thankful for the happiness and joy I have found in my life by expressing gratitude for the numberless blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me. Today I am thankful for repentance and forgiveness. I am so thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered for my sins so that I might be cleansed and return to my Father in Heaven.

Today I am thankful for my Dad. He is such a hardworking man. He tirelessly labors for the support of our family. He is also a great example to me of kindness and love for others. I am lucky to be his daughter.

Today I am thankful for glasses. I have only worn glasses for two years, but when I got them I couldn't believe how much detail I was missing. I'm so thankful for the people of the past that were inspired to help people see better.

Today I am thankful for good friends. I have so many people in my life who I know I can turn to when I am in need. I just hope they know I would do the same for them in a heartbeat.

Today I am thankful for the lessons I learned in church yesterday. In sacrament meeting we learned about the importance of temple work. In Sunday School we learned about the importance of scripture study. In Relief Society we learned about the importance of forgiveness. So many good things. My heart is full.

Today I am thankful for mail. I love getting letters in the mail. It is one of the most exciting things in my life right now.

Today I am thankful for the opportunity to serve. I am helping with a tree for the Festival of Trees, which I encourage you all to attend to help benefit Primary Children's Medical Center. I volunteered to make the tree skirt. Today it is finally complete. Take a look.

I'd like to send a special thank you to my mother who tirelessly assisted me in this project and this blog for giving me the inspiration.

Thankfully I only burned myself once with the hot glue gun. That is a miracle in itself.

Today I am thankful for the mountains. Aren't they just the most majestic things ever? I see them standing massively ahead as I drive in to work each morning. Sometimes for me looking at the mountains is like sitting at the beach watching the ocean waves. I could stare forever.

Today I am thankful that I was not in a major accident on the snowy roads. I spun out when I got on the freeway. Thankfully there were not many cars around and I didn't hit anything. I was able to get right back on the road and go. Someone was watching out for me.

Today I am thankful for the freedom to vote. I registered to vote as soon as I turned 18. Today marks my third presidential election as a voter. Three cheers for democracy!

Today I am thankful for the prospect of new friends and good experiences in a new singles ward. I had a very positive experience attending yesterday and I'm excited for the future.

Today I am thankful for waking up without an alarm. I don't get to do it very often, but on the days I do, I take full advantage of sleeping in.

Today I am thankful for my mother. I'm thankful for her every day but I wanted to send out a special shout out. My mother is incredible. She and I were the only girls in the family as I grew up and we stuck together. She is always so kind and encouraging to me. I love her dearly.

Today I am thankful for the ability to run. Running has been one of the best hobbies I've ever acquired for myself. It makes me feel energized and strong. If you'd have told me when I was a teenager that in my 20s I'd fall in love with running, I would have laughed heartily.

Today I am thankful for a job that allows me time to work on homework. It is such a blessing in my life. My job isn't exactly one you could apply for it. I know it is a miracle to have it and I will forever be thankful.
